Look inside an exemplar of urban living

Designed by LFA in collaboration with Tonkin Zulaika Greer in 2000, Centric was the first residential stage of Victoria Park, comprising 46 apartments and 16 terrace houses.

This video offers a rare insight into one of Centric’s terraces and demonstrates the enduring quality of good design and density done well.

A vision realised over the decades

A recent article by Frasers Property Australia chronicled the 50-year realisation of The Waterfront at Shell Cove project.

Our contribution to this unique project as master planner, landscape designer and town planner spans over three decades – from securing Ministerial

Consent for the boat harbour, to the award-winning concept design, and to the detailed designed guidelines for each of the residential precincts.

It’s a testament to our longevity as a truly visionary and interdisciplinary practice.

2019 end of year wrap up

It’s been another successful year for LFA

In urban design, we’ve continued to build on the strengths of our previous work, having been retained by Georges River Council and Fairfield City Council to envision the revitalisation of Beverly Hills Town Centre and Fairfield City Centre.

Our work on new communities and priority precincts for State Government is set to resume in the new year in line with the Governments’ new approach to precinct planning.

In planning, we’ve contributed to the approval of two more precincts at Shell Cove, Precincts F and G. We’ve also continued to assist the Greater Sydney Commission with various projects.

In architecture, we’re pleased to have designed the first approved apartment building complex in the Castle Hill Showground Station Precinct, Oriel by CBD Core.

Thanks to all our valued clients and collaborators for the achievements of 2019 and we look forward to working within you again in 2020.

New look. Same quality services.

It’s certainly been a journey – curating 40 years of urban design, planning and architecture into the selected portfolio featured here.

We are proud to present LFA in a new light, with kudos to the team at The Mighty Wonton for collaborating on the new design, developing the website and guiding our rebranding.

Our look may have changed, but our core values and commitment to delivering quality design services with initiative, creativity, pragmatism and foresight remains.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you’d like to know more.
